By creating an account or using the Ads Africa app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who can use Ads Africa

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a contract in your country. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your password private.

What Ads Africa is

Ads Africa is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, store or ship the items advertised, we do not handle payments between users, and we cannot guarantee that any listing, buyer or seller is genuine. Meet in a safe public place, check goods before paying, and use your own judgement.

Rules for content

You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to display it in the app and in links shared from it. You must not post:

• Illegal, stolen, counterfeit or recalled items, weapons, drugs, or live animals where prohibited.
• Sexual, hateful, violent, harassing or discriminatory content.
• Someone else's photos, text or trademarks without permission.
• False, misleading or spam listings, or other people's personal information.
• Anything that breaks the law where you live or where the buyer lives.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. Every ad is reviewed before it is published. You can report an ad or a user from inside the app, and block any user so their ads no longer appear for you. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content and accounts that break these rules.

Suspension and removal

We may remove any ad, or suspend or delete any account, if we believe these terms have been broken or that someone is being put at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Edit profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, ads, photos, reviews and transaction records.

No warranty and our liability

The app is provided "as is". We do not promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, Ads Africa is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between users, from content posted by users, or from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and if a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Ads Africa after a change means you accept the new terms.
